Overview
This section describes how to deploy a Kyvos cluster on Google Cloud Platform by configuring the required resources and settings through Kyvos Manager.
Deploying Kyvos Manager
To configure the Kyvos GCP cluster in Kyvos Manager, you must first deploy Kyvos Manager.
To deploy Kyvos Manager, perform the following steps:
SSH into the node on which you want to install Kyvos Manager, and navigate to the following location:
/data/kyvos/installs/Download the Kyvos bundle file provided by the Support team using the following command.
wget <http://<BundleURL>
Here,BundleURLis the URL provided by the Kyvos Support team for downloading the Kyvos bundle fileUntar the bundle file using the following command.
tar -xvf <bundle name>.tar.gz
Here,bundle_nameis the name of your tar file, for example,KyvosManager2020.4_ux64.Configure the required properties in the jdbc.properties file (located at: /data/kyvos/installs/kyvosmanager_war/kyvosmanagerdata/server/db) for Kyvos Manager depending on the repository and its type you want to use for Kyvos Manager.
Navigate to the following folder:
/data/kyvos/installs/kyvosmanager_war/kyvosmanager/bin
Then start Kyvos Manager using the command: ./start-km.sh

Deploying Kyvos GCP cluster
To deploy the Kyvos GCP cluster, perform the following steps.
Log in to Kyvos Manager using your administrator credentials (default password: admin/admin). You must change the default password. To change the password, follow on-screen instructions.
Change the password after logging in, and log in again using the new password. You are redirected to the following URL to begin configuring the Kyvos cluster:
http://<IP>:8080/kyvosmanager/kyvos-installer/gcpOn the displayed wizard, the I have all the resources option is selected by default.
Click Install Kyvos. The Setup Kyvos Environment page is displayed.
On the Setup Kyvos Environment page, enter details as:

Important points
For Kyvos Wizard-based deployments, you must create Kyvos Manager manually and edit the
kyvosparams.tfvarsfile (available in the GCP Installation Files) and setkmCountto0. Additional resources for Kyvos deployment will be created using this script (kyvosparams.tfvars) EXCEPT Kyvos Manager.Creating node operations using resource scaling from Kyvos Manager is not supported.
