Description:
This function performs the 'POWER' operation on the given value just like normal mathematical operation.
Syntax:
POW(Numeric_Expression1, Numeric_Expression2)
Return type:
SCALAR
Parameters:
Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
Numeric_Expression1 | It is a valid MDX expression that returns a scalar value and whose power needs to be evaluated. |
Numeric_Expression2 | It is a valid MDX expression that returns a scalar value. This value defines upto what power the value needs to be evaluated. |
Example:
WITH MEMBER [Measures].[Result] AS POW([Measures].[Order Count], 2) SELECT [Measures].[Result] ON 0 FROM [AdventureWorksMF]
