Kyvos Excelerate (Excel Add-in)

Kyvos Excel Add-in enables you to perform advanced analytics on extremely large datasets directly from Microsoft Excel. It helps you to create quick reports, drill-down to granular levels, and explore enterprise data limitlessly, all within Excel.

The Excel Add-in can connect to the Kyvos semantic models using the custom Kyvos connector (MDX Connectivity) and SQL connectivity (only for Extracts) for both Excel and Web Editions.

   Excel Add-in Web comes with a Descendants Between functionality. This feature allows you to easily retrieve a set of descendants between two specified levels or members within a hierarchy. You can specify the starting and ending points within a hierarchy, defining the desired range. The add-in then retrieves all the descendants falling between these two points, considering the hierarchical structure. This enables you to extract a specific subset of data that is located within a particular range of the hierarchy.
   Leveraging this feature, you can efficiently navigate through hierarchies, filter data based on specific ranges, and perform targeted analysis within the desired scope. To get started on Kyvos Excelerate (Excel Add-in), perform the following steps:

1. Download Kyvos Excel Add-in.

   1. Excelerate Desktop (2504.1.11713.0)

   2. Excelerate Web (2504.1.11713.0)

2. Verify and ensure you have all the relevant prerequisites.

3. Install Kyvos Excel Add-In

   • Excel (Desktop) Edition: Double click the downloaded installation package to start the automated installation.

   • Web Edition

4. Activate Kyvos Excelerate Excel Add-in License

5. Create Kyvos connection for Excelerate (Excel Add-in)

**Kyvos Excelerate Excel Add-in is an integration of FluenceXL (formerly XLCubed) with Kyvos. You may find references to FluenceXL or XLCubed in some documentation. Once you install and activate the license for Excel Add-in, you will see Kyvos Excelerate Excel Add-in in place of FluenceXL on your desktop/web applications.
